At Sovereign Fitness we hold a variety of fitness classes throughout the week and you don’t have to be a member of the gym to join in. Joining or visiting a gym is often daunting if you’re not sure where to start, which exercises to do or how to do them. Whether you are just beginning or training for an event, group fitness classes may be your answer.
Exercise classes are a great way to workout without having to think or plan your gym visit, every class has been structured with a warm up, a workout and a cool down. The warm up helps raise your heart rate and loosen your joints and muscles. The exercises where Steph will show you how to execute each one correctly to ensure you benefit the most from every workout and also eliminate potential injury. Then a cool down to lower your heart rate and stretch the muscles worked throughout the class. Group fitness classes are fun and a great way to workout within a group motivating each other, the classes are designed to be suitable for all levels of fitness, you can work within your own strengths and capabilities.
Have kids? Finding it hard to organise child minders so you can fit in a workout? Steph runs Mums Fitclub and Mums Metafit on Monday and Thursday mornings where you can bring your little ones along. And for parents with children 10 years plus, why not join in our Family Fitclub on a Monday evening. Steph believes in a lead by example policy and it’s a fun way to spend some family time.
